David L. Davidson

David L. Davidson, ERPA, CPC, QPA, QKA, QPFC has been a Principal of the firm since 2002. David provides retirement plan design consulting and coordination of plan sponsor and participant services for RPS’s clients. David leads RPS’s retirement plan consultants and business development team. As a principal of the firm, he assists with the day-to-day management of the firm and with the development of its culture and vision.

Prior to joining RPS, David was an Internal Consultant at Principal Financial Group where he was responsible for providing consulting and training development and facilitation for Principal’s retirement plan administration and recordkeeping division. He also served as the administration liaison for a number of complex and/or significant relationship clients.

David has over 15 years of experience in the industry and holds the designations of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). As an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), David is licensed to represent RPS clients before the Internal Revenue Service.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University and completed the Master of Business Administration program at Drake University. David has been a speaker at a number of local and national seminars, speaking on subjects such as making the most out of your retirement plan, fiduciary hot topics, and understanding the complexities of retirement plan fees. David has served as a member of the advisory board for Charles Schwab Trust Company since 2005.

Kimberly A. Beal

Kimberly A. Beal, ERPA, CPC, QPA, QKA has been a Principal of the firm since 2003 . Kim oversees the Administration area of the company, which is responsible for all aspects of RPS’s plan administration services, including plan document preparation & maintenance as well as compliance and government reporting. Kim oversees the management of RPS’s Plan Specialists and Plan Technicians. As a Principal of the Firm, Kim also assists in the day to day management of the business, including staffing, financials and operations.

Kim has over 13 years of experience in the retirement plan industry and holds the designations of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). As an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), Kim is licensed to represent RPS clients before the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to joining RPS, Kim was a Professional Consultant for Moneta Group, LLC. At Moneta, Kim worked in large part with plan sponsors of qualified retirement plans and their participants. Kim’s primary responsibilities were interacting directly with clients and assisting them with the implementation of plan designs, investment policies, and the coordination of employee and trustee education meetings. Kim also acted as an intermediary between her clients and their respective third party administration firms.

Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts from Armstrong State College. Kim is currently Treasurer for the local ABC Gateway St. Louis Chapter of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, which helps to promote the private pension system through education and awareness with other professionals and serves as a member of the advisory board for Schwab Retirement Technologies.
